The Pop-Up Performers Program is a year-round initiative to continue adding more fun and entertainment on the streets of Downtown.The program hires and deploys local street performers, also known as buskers, to enliven sidewalks and public places with music, dance and other acts. The program welcomes and encourages both local and touring, professional and amateur, buskers to perform in public spaces.
In its inaugural 2015 season the program will showcase a wide variety of artists, including but not limited to:
- Freestyle dancers
- Hula Hoopers
- Bagpipe Players
- Drum troops
