Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. (DGRI), in collaboration with SMG and the Grand Rapids-Kent County Convention/Arena Authority, seeks bids for the full reconstruction of the Van Andel Arena plaza.
The project includes the demolition of the existing plaza at the southeast corner of Fulton Street and Ottawa Avenue and the full reconstruction of a new plaza. The work will include the installation of a new snowmelt system, new pavers and reinstallation of existing donor pavers, improved ROW walks and curb ramps, raised steel planters with irrigation, seating, trees & landscaping, concrete steps, pedestrian lighting, and the reinstallation of existing flag poles. Two (2) integrated transit shelters and changeable message signs, as well as new Monument signage, are also included in the scope of work.
Bids are due January 17, 2020, at 2:00 PM local time.

There is a pre-bid meeting at DGRI’s office on December 17 at 10:00 AM.
Drawings will be available beginning December 10 per the Advertisement for Bids.
