In order to maintain a high level of openness and transparency during the COVID-19 pandemic, Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. (DGRI) will host all meetings on the virtual platform Microsoft Teams starting March 23, 2020.
This includes meetings of the Grand Rapids Downtown Development Authority, Downtown Improvement District, Monroe North Tax Increment Finance Authority and all DGRI citizen advisory Alliances.
Holding these meeting on a virtual platform enables both appointed Board members and members of the public to safely and effectively participate while they are unable to attend in-person due to the current public health crisis management orders. DGRI closed its office to the public effective March 16, 2020.
In order to access the virtual meetings, please go to DGRI’s Meetings & Agendas page. Click on the agenda of the meeting you wish to join. Each agenda packet will have instructions on how to join the virtual meeting.
Microsoft Teams can be accessed by downloading the app or by simply following the web link provided in the packet. People who seek to participate and do not have a Microsoft account can join as a guest.
People may participate in the meetings using a computer or mobile device. Camera use is not required.
Any instructions specific to the meeting will be provided by a moderator prior to the beginning of the meeting.
